About The Course |

This is a four-years duration course in Aeronautical
Engineering the course & examinations are conducted by the Aeronautical
Society of India, New Delhi.The course comprises of two sections viz Section
A & Section B.A candidate who passes Section A & Section B level
examinations of AMAeSI is recognized by the Government of India at par with a
Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from any Indian University for
purposes of recruitment to superior posts & services under the central
government. |

AeSI
was established in 1948 under the societies registration Act XXI of 1860 with
support and patronage of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister
of India who became the society's first patron-in-chief. The objectives of
the society are to promote the advancement & diffusion of knowledge of
the aeronautical science and aircraft engineering and devotion of
aeronautical profession.
For this, the society provides a platform to the
professionals in the field of aeronautics, organizes seminars & workshops
to promote aeronautics & brings about awareness in the field. |

About The Course
|
AMIETE is a four-years duration course after class XII in
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering
and Information Technology whereas DIPIETE is a 3 year duration course after
class X in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Computer
Science & Engineering. The courses & examinations are conducted by
the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineers,New Delhi.
A pass in AMIETE (both section A & Section B) is recognized as equivalent
to an Engineering Degree by the Union Public Service Commission and
Government of India for the purposes of recruitment to superior posts and
services under the Central Government. |
A similar recognition has been accorded by several state
governments. A large number of Universities and Institutions have recognized
AMIETE for higher professional qualifications.This qualification further
enables a candidate to appear for GATE for postgraduate studies in India.
AMIETE standards have been evaluated by the World Education Service, a New
York based Education Credential Evaluators, who have declared that it is
equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication
Engineering in the United States. DIPETE has been recognized by the Govt. of
India as the Diploma level examination for the purpose of employment to posts
& services under the Central Government in the appropriate field. Besides
several state governments and Union Territories have also recognized DIPIETE
as equivalent to Diploma courses awarded by them. |

They can occupy responsible post in privet, public sector,
