AMAeSI

Associate Member of Aeronautical Society of India. The Degree is considered at par with an Engineering Degree (Aeronautical) awarded by any government recognized India university throughout India. The Degree is equivalent to BE/B.TECH (Aeronautical) and is valid in India, as well as abroad.

AMIETE

The Associate Member of Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (India) Degree is considered equivalent to an Engineering Degree (B.E/B.TECH) awarded by any government-recognized university throughout India by whose letter no. F-18-62-57-T-5 dated 24th June 1959. The Degree is valid in India, as well as overseas.

AMIME

The recognition of the courses run by IME Mumbai may be with effect from 2006. With this recognition IME will run the courses based on new syllabus approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

IME Institution of Mechanical Engineers (INDIA) are recognized by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

AMICE

The Degree is considered at par with an Engineering Degree awarded by any government recognized India university throughout India. The Degree is equivalent to BE/B.TECH and is valid in India, as well as abroad.

ICE Institution of Civil Engineers (INDIA) are recognized by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

About The Course

This is a four-years duration course in Aeronautical Engineering the course & examinations are conducted by the Aeronautical Society of India, New Delhi.The course comprises of two sections viz Section A & Section B.A candidate who passes Section A & Section B level examinations of AMAeSI is recognized by the Government of India at par with a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from any Indian University for purposes of recruitment to superior posts & services under the central government.

About Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI)

AeSI was established in 1948 under the societies registration Act XXI of 1860 with support and patronage of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India who became the society's first patron-in-chief. The objectives of the society are to promote the advancement & diffusion of knowledge of the aeronautical science and aircraft engineering and devotion of aeronautical profession.

About The Course

AMIETE is a four-years duration course after class XII in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology whereas DIPIETE is a 3 year duration course after class X in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. The courses & examinations are conducted by the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineers,New Delhi. A pass in AMIETE (both section A & Section B) is recognized as equivalent to an Engineering Degree by the Union Public Service Commission and Government of India for the purposes of recruitment to superior posts and services under the Central Government.

A similar recognition has been accorded by several state governments. A large number of Universities and Institutions have recognized AMIETE for higher professional qualifications.This qualification further enables a candidate to appear for GATE for postgraduate studies in India. AMIETE standards have been evaluated by the World Education Service, a New York based Education Credential Evaluators, who have declared that it is equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering in the United States. DIPETE has been recognized by the Govt. of India as the Diploma level examination for the purpose of employment to posts & services under the Central Government in the appropriate field. Besides several state governments and Union Territories have also recognized DIPIETE as equivalent to Diploma courses awarded by them.
